Wedding Celebrant Service Inclusions

One of the most crucial decisions you will make when planning your wedding is choosing the right marriage celebrant.

A marriage celebrant plays a vital role in creating a personalized and memorable ceremony that truly reflects your love, and sets the tone or vibe for your entire celebration.

This is what I include in my service to help you achieve that;

1.Initial Consultation

The initial online consulatation is an opportunity for you to get to know me, ask questions relating to marriage, and discuss your vision, or any ideas you may already have for the wedding ceremony. During this meeting, I will also discuss my processes with you, and outline your legal obligations.

2. Planning Meeting

Once a booking has been made, I will confirm all the details via email and will request payment of a booking fee to secure my availability for your date. I will then contact you approximately 6 months out from the big day to schedule in a 1 hour planning meeting. During this meeting we will complete your initial legal obligations, plan a basic design and structure of your wedding ceremony, and discuss all the content you would like to include. This is an extremely collaborative process, and we will cover a variety of details – some that you may not even have thought about yet!

3. Personalised Ceremony Script

One of the key responsibilities of a wedding celebrant is to create a personalised ceremony script that resonates perfectly with you and your partner. I will work closely with you to incorporate your love story, personal vows, readings, and any cultural, religious or spiritual traditions you may wish to include. The result is a unique and meaningful ceremony that reflects your personalities and values.

4. Final Meeting, or rehearsal

As part of the wedding ceremony preparation process, it is recommended to schedule a final meeting or rehearsal approximately 1-2 weeks before your wedding date. While this meeting is optional, it can be beneficial in alleviating any pre-wedding jitters and allows for a discussion of any last-minute or on-the-day details. This meeting can be conducted either in person or via Zoom, based on your preference or time constraints.

4. Conducting the Ceremony

On your wedding day, I will arrive promptly to oversee the setup and preparations. As your celebrant, I will take on a coordination role by communicating with venue staff to ensure a cohesive and smooth running of your ceremony. This involves coordinating with vendors to align everyone’s activities, and engaging with family or friends playing key roles. I will then deliver your ceremony with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, all while guiding you through the proceedings.

5. Legal Requirements

All authorised marriage celebrants are legally obligated to take care of all the legal aspects of your marriage. This includes ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the relevant authorities in a timely manner. You can rest assured that I am legally recognised under Australian law, and will ensure all your legal requirements are taken care of on your behalf.

6. Rehearsal

All wedding celebrants should offer a rehearsal before the actual ceremony to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the big day, especially if you are including a variety of customs or rituals that require the participation of many family and friends. A rehearsal would be helpful in ensuring that everyone is comfortable with their involvement and the process in place.
However, a rehearsal is completely optional, and are not necessary for couples who have opted for a more simple or straightforward wedding ceremony, in which case a briefer meeting to discuss all the final details of the day, will be offered as a more efficient substitute.

7. Post-Ceremony Support

A good celebrant will be there to support you every step of the way, even after the ceremony has concluded.
In the days following the wedding, your celebrant should follow up with you to ensure that you are happy with how everything went. They should also provide guidance on applying for your marriage certificate and any change of name requirements.
I will ensure all of this is covered and will provide support and assistance following the wedding day for an unlimited amount of time.

In conclusion, choosing the right wedding celebrant is essential in creating a meaningful and personalised experienced when it comes to your wedding ceremony.
