📖There are stories of the first wedding dance dating back to a time when the groom would steal his bride away and show off his new wife to his friends by dancing her around the fire.

👑This evolved into 16th-century European royal weddings, where guests would honour their newlywed king and queen by gliding across the ballroom, as the couple sat and politely watched.

🎊These days, it can either be a lovely romantic tradition, or replaced with a number of alternative options, like a fully choreographed routine, to a flash mob style presentation, to maybe even skipping the first dance altogether and simply inviting guests to get up and join you in a first dance all together!
